Muhammad
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (570 C.E. – 623 C.E.), peace and blessings of Allah be on him, is the holy founder of the religion of Islam. The basis of Islam is the Holy Qur’an, which was revealed to the Holy Prophet over a period of 23 years. The Quran is a perfect book, which comprises the final law for all mankind. The Holy Prophet’s practice, known as the “Sunnah,” helps illuminate the teachings of the Qur’an, and is the second source of Islamic law, followed by his reported sayings, known as the “Hadith.”
